The Picker
THE PICKER
All the Animal Education Outreach presentations and materials are age-appropriate and age-sensitive.
As an "ice-breaker," for the younger groups, we play the Category or Group Game. In this, we ask the children to think of the name of an animal beginning with a particular letter of the alphabet. This often results in a sea of hands raised for each letter - and "The Picker's" job is to pick the child who will answer.
The AEO Picker is very picky - picky about his appearance and picky about his clothes - he's even picky about his shampoo. So, he is perfectly qualified for the job of The Picker.
That's The Picker on the left in the picture, already itching to pick someone. It's just what he does!!
